Why we added a new fibre to our collection

We added TENCEL™ to our collection because of the way it is produced, more responsibly and with a lower environmental impact. It was this combination of comfort and environmental awareness that made us want to bring it to your bed.

Essence Sateen presents TENCEL™ in 300 thread count sateen, with a soft sheen that gives the bed a more polished look. Sateen is a way of weaving in which the threads sit more on the surface of the fabric, creating that subtle lustre and a smoother texture to the touch. It is this combination of the sateen technique and TENCEL™ fibre that gives Essence Sateen its more elevated finish, without ever becoming too shiny.
